POLAR 2018

Davos

Davos, Europe's highest city, is situated in the Eastern part of the Swiss Alps on 1560 meters above sea level. It offers modern congress infrastructure and a wide range of accommodation options from the simple hostel to elegant five-star lodgings. While being at the pulse of international business and research, Davos maintains a pleasant village atmosphere and is surrounded by a stunning alpine environment, making your visit exceptionally enjoyable. Travelling to Davos is best done by train, the nearest international airport being Zurich, some well-connected 150 km away from Davos. The train ride through the picturesque pre-alpine and alpine environment is a special experience.

Links, maps, hiking and biking ideas and further information can be found in Questions & Answers!
